Lead Auditor - Conformity Assessment Specialist
The role of Lead Auditor – Conformity Assessment Specialist requires a strong understanding of industry sector codes and the ability to effectively plan, conduct, and lead audits across diverse industries. As a key member of our Certification team, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality second- and third-party audits, assessments, and compliance work in line with approved codes, SOPs, and your professional expertise.
You will be responsible for handling technical queries, contributing to the promotion of our certification services through client engagement and support, and leading assessment/audit teams. Additionally, you will undertake audit activity in accordance with SGS accreditation policies, procedures, and audit program requirements.
A successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in a business environment, proficiency in English, and approved CSCA APSCA Auditor Accreditation. They will also possess a minimum tertiary education evidence of knowledge corresponding to post-secondary education or equivalent training.
In this role, you will have opportunities to maintain and continue to develop audit assessment skills, technical knowledge, and participate in ensuring that any Continued Professional Development (CPD) requirements are met. You will also collect and analyse sufficient information to provide appropriate recommendations for certifications, respond to client enquiries on technical matters, and report customer complaints, problems, and/or system deficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, conduct, and lead audits across a wide range of industry sector codes.
* Lead assessment/audit teams.
* Undertake audit activity in accordance with SGS accreditation policies, procedures, and audit program requirements.
* Collate audit/assessment findings, prepare reports, and communicate findings to clients.
* Provide accurate and prompt information to the Delivery Support Team.
* Assist in the training of other auditors and lead auditors.
* Maintain and continue to develop audit assessment skills, technical knowledge, and participate in ensuring CPD requirements are met.
