The opportunity
As a valued member of Finance, Infrastructure and Information Services, you will:
support the financial sustainability of Diocese of Toowoomba Catholic Schools
assist with maintaining efficient, accurate, and reliable accounting records
provide accurate and professional financial advice to school leadership and school finance personnel
assist the Manager: Finance in the provision of business management and compliance services.

About you
Degree level tertiary qualification in accounting or a related field
Minimum of three years' experience in an accounting role
Effective relationship building and influencing skills
Demonstrated experience working with the Microsoft suite of products, including Office 365
Demonstrated advanced spreadsheeting skills
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge, experience and success in financial management and financial compliance
A current Class C driver licence and the willingness to travel to schools within allocated school regions.
Either hold a current Paid Blue Card for working with children issued by Blue Card Services or be eligible to obtain one prior to commencing in this role.

Previous financial management experience working in an education context will be highly regarded.
Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) professional membership will be highly regarded.
