Occupational Therapist - Helping Individuals Achieve Their Goals
The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop personalized plans to enhance their independence and quality of life.
This role involves:
1. Trialling and prescribing equipment and assistive technology to improve clients' mobility and accessibility
2. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
3. Developing and implementing strategies to promote clients' participation in daily activities and hobbies
4. Conducting Functional Capacity Assessments and providing recommendations for equipment and assistive technology
5. Managing client caseloads to deliver optimal outcomes
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Current registration with AHPRA
* Experience working with individuals with spinal cord damage or other physical disabilities (desired but not required)
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
* NDIS worker screening and Blue card (current or applicable)
