Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead and manage a team of engineers and technical specialists. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert technical advice and support across all modes of transport and asset classes, including traction substations, high-voltage feeders, overhead wiring systems, traction power network modelling, and renewable energy integration.
* This role operates under delegated technical authority from the Professional Head Energy Networks & Systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering standards across the asset group and be able to remain current with industry developments, international standards and emerging technologies to incorporate innovation into TfNSW Standards.
About You
The applicant must hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. They should also bring demonstrated experience in leading teams effectively engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels.
