Vin Populi Restaurant, located in Fremantle, is seeking a full-time Restaurant Manager to join our team as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning menus in consultation with chefs.
Planning and organising special functions and events.
Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget.
Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
Ensuring dining facilities comply with health and safety regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.
Conferring with customers to assess satisfaction with meals and service.
Selecting, training, and supervising waiting and kitchen staff.
Assisting with reservations, greeting guests, and supporting service as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
A Diploma in Hospitality Management (Restaurant Front of House) or equivalent qualification; or
At least three years of relevant experience in a similar role if no formal qualification has been obtained.
At least 12 months of relevant professional experience (in addition to qualification equivalency).
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Strong understanding of Australian and European cuisine.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with the Executive Chef and Management Team.
Solid knowledge of European and Australian wines.
Employment Details:
Full-time ongoing position.
Annual remuneration: $76,515 + superannuation.
Location: 9–13 High Street, Fremantle WA 6160.
