Join to apply for the Casual Labourers role at City of Wagga Wagga. Wagga Wagga City Council are calling for applications from motivated people with labouring experience to join various Council locations. This is an ideal opportunity for those accustomed to hands-on work and seeking a role with variety. Positions are casual and on an as-needed basis. Remuneration
$34.82 gross per hour (inclusive of casual loading) + superannuation
Duties
* General labouring
* Fencing and litter control activities
* Concrete and paving
* Traffic/pedestrian management
* Operating and maintaining items of plant, equipment, and tools
What You Will Need To Succeed
We are looking for people who:
* Have previous experience in a labouring position
* Have a Class C Drivers Licence (minimum)
* Have a General Construction Induction Training Card (White)
* Can work well as part of a team
* Are highly motivated, driven to achieve and want to provide a service for the community
* Are committed to WH&S requirements of the role
Health, safety and immunisation
In accordance with Work Health and Safety legislation, applicants are required to be vaccinated and provide evidence of immunisation prior to commencement. Vaccinations may include Hepatitis A (Parks and Gardens) and Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Tetanus (Gregadoo Waste Management Centre); evidence of Q Fever is required for some areas of Council, such as the Livestock Marketing Centre. All candidates will be required to provide evidence of immunisation prior to commencement.
