We have two opportunities for Workforce Planning Analysts to join our Central Operations team, supporting the delivery of accurate, compliant and executable workforce plans across our store network. Working closely with Store Operations, People & Capability, Finance, Tech and Workforce teams, you'll play a key role in translating operational demand, labour standards and budgets into practical workforce plans that enable effective store execution and productivity improvement.
What You'll Be Doing
In these roles, you'll deliver high quality workforce planning analysis and insights that support efficient workforce deployment and proactive wages management across stores.
* Develop and maintain workforce planning analysis that translates operational demand, workflow inputs, labour standards and budgets into executable workforce plans and roster inputs.
* Support the execution and optimisation of store rosters, including adherence to model rosters and governance processes for roster changes and variations.
* Analyse labour standards, workload drivers and store operating rhythms to ensure workforce models are practical, compliant and fit for execution.
* Provide technical expertise across load‐based scheduling, wages time of day optimisation and AI enabled smarter scheduling, including use of platforms such as UKG Pro.
* Deliver clear, actionable workforce insights that identify trends, risks and opportunities related to labour deployment, productivity and efficiency.
* Maintain and enhance workforce planning data sources, dashboards and reporting (including Power BI) to ensure accuracy, consistency and usability.
* Partner with stakeholders across operations, workforce, finance and technology to support workforce planning initiatives and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role you'll have
* Proven experience in workforce planning, rostering, labour analytics or operational planning in a large, complex environment.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, practical and actionable insights.
* Experience working with workforce planning or scheduling systems, with exposure to load‐based or AI‐enabled scheduling tools preferred.
* A solid understanding of awards, agreements and conditions that inform compliant and optimised workforce planning decisions.
* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to document assumptions, rules and decisions to support governance and auditability.
* Confidence working as a technical subject matter expert and influencing outcomes without formal authority.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and operational teams.
* Comfort operating in fast‐moving environments and responding to operational change while maintaining planning integrity.
* A proactive, curious mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering tangible productivity outcomes.
