Position: Transmission Lines Engineer
Salary: $150-170k
Company: Tier 1 Contractor

Projects: Energy – Overhead Transmission Lines
Design & Build have partnered with a Tier 1 contractor on some of Australia's key energy transition projects, think multi-billion dollar development involving solar, wind, transmission & substations with major players and some of the best engineers in the energy sector.
Join a high-performing design division working closely with the design partner to deliver transmission line design up to 500kV and play a key role in shaping the future of the grid.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead transmission line design up to 500kV using PLS-CADD and AutoCAD
* Manage design through detailed design, construction, and post-construction reviews
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on structural, electrical, and environmental aspects of transmission lines
* Optimise design efficiency and reliability
* Prepare technical documentation
What You'll Bring:
* Proven experience as a design engineer on major energy infrastructure projects (132-500kV overhead transmission lines)
* Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., Bachelor of Engineering)
* CPEng or working towards it
* Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering body (e.g., Engineers Australia)
