Science Engagement and Events Producer
The Australian Museum is seeking a highly skilled Science Engagement and Events Producer to lead the development and delivery of our flagship National Science Week season, Sydney Science Trail.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team to create engaging science programs that inspire participation and increase STEM literacy. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, science professionals, communicators and educators to program and present activities for the Expo.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and delivering science engagement programs for the Expo and other events;
* Working with stakeholders to secure funding and partnerships;
* Collaborating with internal teams to develop grant submissions and reports;
* Managing event logistics and ensuring timely delivery;
* Building relationships with community groups, industry partners and donors.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in science communication, event management and project coordination. They will be able to demonstrate their ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Event Management, Science Communication, History, Culture or Arts;
* Availability to work on weekends, public holidays and evenings when required;
* A valid NSW Working with Children Check.
