About the role
Peninsula Villages has part-time and casual Catering Assistant positions available at our Umina Beach, NSW campus. We offer flexible working opportunities in a supportive and inclusive environment.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting with food preparation, such as chopping, slicing and portioning ingredients
* Setting up and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
* Providing friendly and efficient customer service to residents and visitors
* Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
* Working collaboratively with the catering team to deliver exceptional dining experiences
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role, preferably in a residential or aged care setting
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene
* Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner
* The ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
