Your role as a Customer Service Officer puts you in the driver's seat of our service delivery, giving you the autonomy to do what you do best – helping customers achieve their banking goals.
Responsibilities
* Exploring customers' needs through in-depth conversations to help them achieve their financial goals and partnering with different specialists within the branch
* Keeping up with constant change – supporting our customers with their digital literacy and online banking needs as we continue to innovate our offerings
* Being the face of the branch and customer service – acting as the customer's go-to person for transactions, cash handling, query investigation and paperwork, while keeping risk considerations at the forefront
* Embracing an attitude of lifelong learning – bringing your brilliant mind and growth mindset to take your career to the next level with on‑the‑job training and external development opportunities
* Building connections – supporting our customers, giving back and making our communities a better place while having some fun along the way
This is a 12‑month fixed term, full‑time contract position located in Boronia .
What you'll bring to the role
* Experience in a customer‑service environment and the ability to achieve targets
* Strong attention to detail to ensure secure, accurate transactions with a risk mindset
* Confidence to communicate with new and existing customers face‑to‑face and over the phone
* Eagerness to understand and communicate what makes our bank different
* Drive for collaboration – mateship is crucial for us to work together and achieve our goals
* Experience in the banking and finance industry is a plus but not essential
