Role
Edmund Rice College is seeking a suitably qualified Mathematics teacher who is familiar with the National Mathematics Curriculum. The successful applicant should demonstrate innovative approaches to teaching Mathematics to engage and inspire boys in their learning. The role includes teaching Mathematics to secondary students and contributing to the College's extra-curricular life.
Responsibilities
 * Teach Mathematics to secondary students (Years 7-12) in alignment with the NSW syllabus
 * Deliver innovative, engaging lessons to inspire students
 * Support and promote the Mission and Ethos of the College
 * Contribute to the extra-curricular life of the College
 * Create a positive learning environment and encourage student responsibility for learning
 * Collaborate with staff to support student outcomes
 * Commit to academic excellence and WHS requirements
 * Possess or obtain a valid Working with Children Check
Qualifications
 * Relevant tertiary qualifications and approval to teach in NSW (suitable for teaching 7-12 Mathematics)
 * Recent experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school
 * Experience with Mathematics Extension 1 is advantageous
 * Willingness to teach Religious Education (desirable)
 * Understanding of and alignment with the College's Mission and Ethos
