Overview

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bid Writer to join our New Business team at RSEA Safety.

This position provides an exceptional opportunity to play a critical role in RSEA's growth strategy by developing compelling and compliant tender submissions, proposals, and capability statements. The successful candidate will thrive in a deadline-driven environment, working collaboratively across the business to showcase RSEA's value proposition to clients and government agencies.

The Bid Writer will play a crucial role in positioning RSEA competitively in the market by producing professional, persuasive, and technically accurate submissions. Their focus will be on coordinating internal inputs, crafting tailored content, and ensuring every bid aligns with client requirements, compliance standards, and our brand voice.

We are looking for someone who is eager to roll up their sleeves, work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple teams, and make a direct impact on RSEA's success. This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to the growth of a dynamic, fast-paced company


Key Responsibilities

* Lead the development of tender responses, EOIs, and proposals across multiple sectors.
* Write persuasive, tailored content that is clear, accurate, and client-focused.
* Maintain a library of case studies, capability statements, and corporate content.


Project Management of Submissions

* Manage submission timelines, compliance requirements, and internal approvals.
* Coordinate inputs across departments to ensure timely and professional submissions.
* Support responses with graphics, organograms, and CV summaries as required.


Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

* Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate technical input into clear, engaging content.
* Partner with Sales Managers and BDMs to align messaging with client strategy.
* Liaise with Legal, Finance, and HR to ensure accuracy and compliance.


Continuous Improvement

* Conduct post-submission reviews and track outcomes to strengthen future bids.
* Contribute to bid strategy discussions to improve win rates.
* Assist in developing templates, style guides, and submission standards.


Skills and Experience

* 2–4 years' experience in bid writing, tender coordination, or technical writing.
* Strong written communication, editing, and proofreading skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
* Experience in government or commercial tender processes highly regarded.
* Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
* Familiarity with procurement portals and compliance topics is an advantage (training provided).
