Direct Steel Traders is a growing steel supplier in Silverdale.
Direct Steel Supplies are a growing steel supplier based in Silverdale, 2572.
The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with overtime regularly available.
Hours: 2pm- 10:30pm
Hourly base rate will depending on skill and experience level.
Advertised rate includes 15% loading for afternoon shift.
The role:
* Picking orders and marking off paperwork.
* Taking in deliveries and filling out relevant documentation.
* Loading and unloading trucks, using overhead cranes.
* Managing stock placement within the warehouse
* Following company policies and Safe Work Procedures
* Tidying and general maintenance of yard & work areas
Candidate must:
* Have good communication skills.
* Be able to work as part of a team and individually.
* Be able to read a tape measure and have basic math's skills.
* Average physical fitness and be willing to do a pre-employment medical
* Reliable transport to Silverdale
Advantage but not essential:
* Forklift Licence
* HC or HR Licence
* Overhead crane experience
* Previous experience in the steel industry
