What does a Geotechnical Engineer in the Geotechnical team do?
Our Geosciences team provides geotechnical, hydrogeological, and environmental consulting services to a variety of clients across infrastructure and development projects in Australia.
Day-to-day tasks include:
* Planning, coordinating, and managing site investigations and producing geotechnical reports, interpreting data, analyzing results, and making recommendations.
* Performing geotechnical analyses such as slope stability, pavement design, foundations, and retaining walls.
* Contributing to project delivery with high technical standards.
* Interpreting and analyzing data to develop practical, commercial solutions.
* Managing projects from inception to completion according to specifications.
Qualifications and skills required:
* Tertiary qualifications in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, including geotechnical electives or majors.
* Interest in field investigations, including logging and supervising drilling activities.
* Passion for geotechnical engineering.
