**About the role**
We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Finance Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team based in Melbourne. This critical role will provide commercial & financial support and analysis to Jemena Corporate Functions. This position is responsible for supporting the budget and forecasting process as well as managing the monthly reporting and understanding the commercial & financial drivers of the business.
**Your responsibilities will include**
- Perform timely and accurate completion of Corporate Functions budget/forecast including commentary for the business plan period (1-5 years)
- Input into the preparation of short and long term budget and forecasts including cost allocation/assessments into different Markets
- Support and influence strategic, financial and commercial support for Corporate initiatives to influence and shape business outcomes
- Preparation of any month-end journals relating to the functions and work with the relevant stakeholders to ensure costs are posted accurately
- Prepare analytical reviews for hard-close and year-end
- Compile risks and opportunities across the functions to ensure visibility of how the result is tracking (current year and outer years in the business plan).
**About you**
To set yourself up for success in Jemena, you arise from a similar role in a comparable industry. You hold relevant tertiary qualifications, coupled with a CA/CPA qualification. You have the ability to interpret business plans and showcase experience support budgeting and forecasting process within a large, complex organisation. Expertise in SAP (FI/CO/PS/PM) and Power BI will be considered favourably.
With your ability to within a team of finance professionals, you are able to generate buy-in when providing sound financial assessment on business optimisation and investment opportunities.
