Job Title: Team Leader - Adult Services

Key Responsibilities:
* Empower a team of Support Workers to provide high-quality and safe services to vulnerable persons within our community.
* Coach and mentor a team of Support Workers, offering on-the-job training, support and guidance.
* Inspire a skilled, versatile, and diverse team utilising your experience in managing performance and delivering support.
* Support service delivery by ensuring effective and efficient administrative processes and procedures, including quality, timely and accurate reporting, planning and record-keeping.
Requirements:
* Advanced problem-solving capabilities, confidence and emotional intelligence that enable you to resolve complex situations.
* The ability to interact positively at all levels, including demonstrated capacity to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and performance manage a team within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
* Effective conflict resolution skills, negotiation, mediation and decision-making skills paired with exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to confidently apply de-escalation strategies in high-conflict situations.
* Demonstrated ability to build a cohesive team with clarity around goals and accountabilities.
* A leadership style that fosters innovative, creative and collaborative practices and the ability to motivate others.
* Willingness to take a person-centred approach to working with vulnerable persons to ensure that the goals and aspirations of the person with disability are understood.
* Celebrate and nurture an inclusive, diverse and supportive workplace.
* Certificate IV or Diploma in Disability Services, Community Services, or similar field; or identify as Aboriginal and be willing to work towards a relevant qualification.
* Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, behaviours of concern and mental health concerns.
* Experience working with people with a disability, highly regarded.
Compliance Requirements:
* Current NSW Driver's licence.
* Obtain and maintain a current paid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Obtain and maintain a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC).
* Willingness to undertake a pre-employment police check.
* Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
