As we build Australia's most advanced precision fermentation facility, a skilled Process Technician is required to oversee the operation and maintenance of plant and process equipment. This is a hands-on role in a cutting-edge biotech manufacturing environment where you will have the opportunity to learn and work with advanced automation and control technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate, monitor and maintain complex machinery and systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently
* Assist with setting up, changing over and shutting down production systems to minimize downtime
* Record process data, perform routine checks and troubleshoot issues promptly to prevent delays or safety risks
* Support cleaning and sterilization procedures to maintain high levels of plant hygiene and product quality
* Collaborate with engineers and scientists to optimize performance, improve efficiency and reliability
* Participate in quality control activities and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards
Requirements:
* Trade, technical or process operations background with strong mechanical aptitude
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify and rectify issues quickly
* Ability to follow operating procedures safely and efficiently
* Aptitude for learning about automation systems, PLCs and instrumentation
* Strong team player with good communication and reliability skills
