Our Information Technology and Digital Services (ITDS) team plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, proactive services to ensure a seamless IT experience across all UniSQ campuses.
As we enter a period of transformation and innovation, we're looking for a forward-thinking Platform Lead (PeopleSoft) to lead and enhance our ITDS technology evolution and strategy, focusing on system effectiveness and continuous improvement.
Who you are
You're a proactive, results-driven IT leader with a passion for improving systems and services. You bring a strategic mindset, extensive experience delivering large scale IT initiatives, and a commitment to improving outcomes for staff, students, and the broader UniSQ community.

What you'll do
The Platform Lead (PeopleSoft) will be the central point of coordination for UniSQ's PeopleSoft environment. You will support a combined team of analysts, developers and data specialists, set priorities, manage upgrades and integrations, and ensure the system continues to meet the University's operational and strategic requirements.
* Provide leadership and oversight of UniSQ's PeopleSoft platform across HR, Finance and Campus Solutions.
* Manage a team of technical and functional staff, ensuring work is well organised and aligned to business needs.
* Oversee platform operations including upgrades, integrations, performance, security and enhancement planning.
* Act as the main contact for PeopleSoft-related technical and functional matters across UniSQ.
* Work with stakeholders to understand requirements, resolve issues and plan future improvements.
* Support a consistent approach to governance, change management and long-term roadmap planning.
* Strengthen collaboration between ITDS and business areas to ensure PeopleSoft work is coordinated and well communicated.
What will help you succeed
Together with your relevant qualification, you will have extensive industry experience in PeopleSoft within a large organisation and have proven experience in leading effective, motivated teams. You will also have:
* Strong experience managing and supporting PeopleSoft systems in a large or complex organisation.
* Background in system design, integration and ongoing operational management.
* Experience leading technical or professional staff and building effective working relationships.
* Excellent analytical, planning and communication skills.
* Alignment with UniSQ's values of Respect, Integrity and Excellence.
