The Opportunity
12-months maternity leave contract opportunity available in Cairns, QLD for a Clinical Specialist commencing 2 February
Work with a Product Specialist to provide technical support in operating theatres across our Trauma and CMF product portfolio.
Attend surgical procedures and provide expert technical support to Orthopaedic Surgeons and Nursing staff in the correct and safe use of products.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and provide in-service training to Registrars, Nursing staff, etc.
Optimise opportunities by passing leads to the Sales Team and providing product demos as required.
Maintain strong product knowledge through ongoing training and drive clinical excellence through professional and exceptional customer experience.
About You
Tertiary qualification in a health-related field (Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science, Chiropractic, etc.) and experience providing clinical support in-theatre during orthopaedic surgeries is highly regarded.
Confidence to work effectively under pressure in an operating theatre environment.
Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills.
Self-starter who is results driven and solutions focused
Autonomous and able to work as part of a team, is organised with good time management skills.

This position requires regular travel to hospitals in Cairns. All applicants must have rights to work in Australia, a reliable car and a valid Driver Licence.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
