The Electrical Project Coordinator reports to the Area Manager and assists with all electrical works, including planning and execution. They provide technical, administrative and (Health & Safety), Environmental, Quality & Sustainability support to Supervisors throughout the project.
The ASWA Project Overview
The project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant, with first production scheduled for 2028. It involves marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Manage engineering tasks from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
 * Administer contract works and ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards, providing support to senior engineers in project administration.
 * Secure necessary permits and approvals and coordinate daily activities with design and regulatory requirements.
 * Coordinate the planning, execution, and handover of electrical deliverables, meeting time, cost, and quality targets.
 * Prepare technical documentation, including Work Procedures, ITPs, SWMS, Construction Procedures, and Site Access Plans.
 * Oversee site inductions for personnel and equipment, ensuring proper onboarding and compliance.
 * Track material traceability, manage purchase orders, monitor costs, and establish productivity metrics.
 * Conduct internal audits, maintain quality records, and coordinate with the delivery team to stay aligned with project commitments.
