Job Description
As an Electrical Automation Technician at Encaba, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a diverse range of automation systems. You will work on a variety of industrial control and automation projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards. Your role will involve electrical fault-finding, system testing, and collaborating with a team of skilled engineers and technicians to design, integrate, and commission automation solutions. A strong commitment to safety, quality, challenging yourself, and continuous improvement is essential as you contribute to our reputation for client satisfaction and project excellence.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

* Current NT Unrestricted Electrical License

* Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, Telemetry, OT Networking and VSD programming

* Ability to develop and implement small to medium PLC and SCADA related projects autonomously

* Instrumentation experience

* Unrestricted driver’s license

* Strong electrical fault-finding abilities

* Proficiency with computer systems and a logical approach to problem-solving

* A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new systems

Highly Desirable Skills

* Hazardous area qualifications & experience

* Instrumentation qualifications

* Possession of a Defence Common Access Card (DCAC) or ability to obtain
