ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for a Picker Packer who is ready to take a step in their career and join our team in a hands-on role where you'll lead by example, foster a supportive environment, and help ensure production targets are met.
This is a rewarding role where you'll work alongside a diverse team comprising adults with disabilities and dedicated support staff. You'll work to daily production targets on a varied range products requiring packaging and assembly.
Your key responsibilities will include:
•Performing packaging, assembly, collation, and light manufacturing tasks (machine or hand).
•Monitoring and maintaining the quality of production and team output including daily reporting on productivity.
•Assisting with stock movement (including driving Forklifts if licenced) and stocktakes.
•Overseeing workspace cleanliness and general housekeeping.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about making a positive impact and thrives in a collaborative and rewarding environment.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
•5 + years experience in the manufacturing sector.
•Leadership capabilities
•A process-driven approach, with excellent reliability and clear communication skills.
•A positive attitude and a genuine motivation to support and encourage others.
•Reliable transport (onsite parking available).
•A forklift licence and experience is preferred
•Previous experience working with people with disabilities is a bonus, but not a requirement.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
To join our team, you’ll need to provide:
•Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an authorised medical exemption.
•Willingness to undertake an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
•Senior First Aid Certificate and CPR or willingness to complete this training before commencing in the role
WORK HOURS
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM
