As Legal Director – Regulatory, you'll play a critical leadership role in shaping and strengthening Serco's regulatory and ethical framework across ASPAC. Reporting to the General Counsel, you'll provide strategic, commercially focused legal advice that supports safe, compliant and values-led operations. You'll act as the division's Data Protection Officer and lead regulatory governance. Working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, you'll help us stay ahead of emerging risks and regulatory change while supporting meaningful work that serves governments and communities.
As a Legal Director – Regulatory in the ASPAC team, you'll make a positive impact by:
Leading data protection and privacy compliance as Division DPO
Developing and strengthening governance and compliance frameworks
Advising leaders on regulatory risk, ethics and corporate obligations
Providing counsel to the GM for Health Safety and Environment
Managing regulator engagement, investigations and reporting processes
Supporting bids and major initiatives with clear, risk-based and commercial advice

You could be a great fit if you have:
10+ years' experience in data privacy, and health and safety regulatory frameworks
Proven experience managing regulatory inquiries and investigations
Ability to provide commercially minded, practical legal advice
Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and executive teams
A current unrestricted practising certificate and Bachelor of Laws
Knowledge of ITAR would be advantageous but not essential
