Take a sneak peek at what’s more to come on our Instagram page @diningbyjamesvilesThe main duties and responsibilities for this role will include the following:Responsible for the breakfast, lunch and/or dinner services as well as events for assigned sectionTo ensure that operating and kitchen equipment is maintained to a good standard with minimum breakage.Responsible for equipment, fridges and hygiene standards in all areas.Responsible for storing all the dairy products, fish, meats, dry goods and vegetables in correct mannerPreparing all the mis-en-place for assigned sectionAssists in quality control of itemsQualificationsCompletion of Chef ApprenticeshipCertificate on Commercial CookeryGood Hygiene and food safety KnowledgeSafe and accurate knife skillsKnowledge and experience in a variety of different cooking methodsDesired: Experience as Commis Chef in 1 Hatted restaurant or similar environmentThis is your chance to work with exclusive clientele at a luxury hotel like no other.
