Role Description
This is a full-time role located in the Greater Melbourne Area, with some work from home acceptable. The BDM / Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical expertise to support sales. Daily tasks will include consulting with clients to understand their specific needs, preparing and delivering product presentations, and collaborating with the engineering team to ensure the best solutions are provided. The role also involves managing the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals and post-sales support.
Qualifications
* Significant experience in Business Development or Sales Engineering
* Technical knowledge in construction products is desirable
* Strong problem-solving and consultative selling skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
* Experience in using CRM software and project management tools
* Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and site visits
* Experience in the construction or mining industry is a plus
