This position involves providing technical service advice and support to meet customer needs and expectations.
We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have trade qualifications in electrical or other related fields and hold relevant licenses and certifications.
In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking installations, repairs, and service work on various pumps and water systems. You will also need to undertake fault finding and diagnostics across a variety of equipment, with a focus on irrigation pumps, filtration systems, and automation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Installation, Repairs and Service Work: Carrying out installations, repairs, and service work on various pumps and water systems, including stock water, solar pumps, diesel engines, drip irrigation, centre pivots, filtration systems, and automation.
* Fault Finding and Diagnostics: Undertaking fault finding and diagnostics across a variety of equipment with a focus on irrigation pumps, filtration systems, and automation.
* Communication and Teamwork: Demonstrating clear and open communication with customers and a flexible approach. Working within a team environment with a strong desire for the team to succeed.
* Working Safely and Independently: Working unsupervised on location with a strong commitment to safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require an appropriate Trade Qualification/s in electrical or other relatable industry and hold relevant licences and certifications.
Additionally, you must have extensive service experience within the irrigation industry and sound technical knowledge of pressurised irrigation systems, pump stations, centre pivots, filtration, automation, and other irrigation systems.
A white card accreditation, manual driver license, HR licence, and industrial electrician experience are preferred, while a forklift license and solar installation experience are desirable.
