Your new role
* Prepare drafting and documentation for civil, structural, and maritime projects across various development phases.
* Collaborate with engineers and designers to produce accurate and high-quality drawing packages.
* Review drawings for quality, accuracy, and completeness, including material take-offs for estimating and construction.
* Assist in the development and implementation of design templates and 3D models for detailed drafting and quantity estimation.
* Participate in site visits and meetings with senior staff to support project delivery.
* Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and relevant State and Local Government regulations.
* Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality, adhering to internal procedures and policies.
* Perform general drafting and design duties as directed.
What you'll need to succeed
* Extensive experience in civil or structural drafting/design. (in the Maritime space)
* High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Full working rights in Australia.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and civil design software.
* Experience working on infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage, bridges, land development, and industrial sites.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
* Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
* Understanding of relevant industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
