Holbrook Landcare Network on behalf of the hosts of Murray Landcare – Murray WA
Do you have strong connections to community, a passion for Country, and a desire to create positive change?
Murray Landcare is seeking two motivated and community-minded Aboriginal people to join our team as part time Regional Aboriginal Landcare Coordinators (RALC). This is a unique opportunity to help strengthen relationships between Aboriginal communities and Landcare, support community-led initiatives, and ensure Aboriginal perspectives are embedded in environmental and land management activities across the Murray region.
About the Role
As a Regional Aboriginal Landcare Coordinator, you'll be a connector, collaborator and cultural champion.
Working across the Murray region, you will build meaningful relationships with Aboriginal communities, Landcare groups and partner organisations. You'll help create opportunities for cultural knowledge sharing, support inclusive engagement, and contribute to projects that benefit people, Country and community.
No two days will be the same. One day you may be attending a community meeting or yarning circle, and the next you could be on Country supporting a Landcare project, connecting people across networks, or helping build cultural understanding within Landcare organisations.
What You'll Be Doing
You can review the full Position Description and access the selection criteria at holbrooklandcare.org.au/join-the-hln-team.
