We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Arc Tile Design Pty Ltd in Wingfield, SA. As a full‑time Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates and pricing proposals. What you'll be doing
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, considering all materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor requirements
* Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather pricing information and negotiate favourable terms
* Analyse project plans, specifications, and tender documents to identify potential cost‑saving opportunities
* Prepare clear and comprehensive proposals and tender submissions that align with client requirements
* Maintain a detailed database of cost information, including historical data and industry benchmarks
* Provide input and support to the project management team throughout the construction process
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
* Strong understanding of construction materials, processes, and industry regulations
* Proficient in the use of estimating software and spreadsheet applications
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify cost‑saving opportunities
* Effective communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
* Attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy and quality
