Our Strategic Policy, Science and Engagement team is currently seeking to appoint a Communications Advisor to support the delivery of clear, effective and audience focused communications across Consumer Energy focused programs within the Energy, Climate Change and Sustainability portfolio.
In this role, you will contribute to the planning and delivery of marketing and communications activities, develop key messages and content across multiple channels, and support stakeholder engagement initiatives. You will work closely with policy, program and project teams to ensure communications are coordinated, evidence based and aligned to departmental priorities. The team culture is collaborative, supportive and outcomes focused, with an emphasis on quality, continuous improvement and strong stakeholder relationships.
About You
You bring proven experience in communications or marketing roles, ideally within a complex or public sector environment, and have the ability to translate technical or policy-based information into clear and engaging content for diverse audiences. You have strong written and verbal communication skills and experience supporting integrated communications campaigns across a range of channels.
You are proactive, well organised and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail. You demonstrate strong relationship building skills and enjoy working collaboratively with stakeholders. Your analytical mindset, willingness to learn and adaptability will support your success in a fast paced and evolving portfolio.
Essential Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in communications or other relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
