Job Description

The Employer: West Recruitment partners with an Australian infrastructure organisation operating in a fast moving and evolving industry. The business is on an exciting growth trajectory with more expansion-related projects underway.


The Opportunity

We seek a Procurement Category Specialist to support the Business with efficient delivery of effective procurement, logistics, contract management, and fleet activities for external goods & services.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose business needs, design, develop, and execute effective strategies.
2. Assess opportunities, gather data, and develop sourcing strategies.
3. Gather key data for supplier negotiations.
4. Category management, demand management, and supplier management.
5. Conduct reviews and prepare contracts.


The Successful Candidate

This role appeals to someone with experience in procurement who is looking to take a step up. Relevant tertiary qualifications are expected, along with commercial acumen and a positive attitude.
