About the Role
This is a procurement professional position with a leading energy company. You will work in Australia and be responsible for supporting all aspects of the procurement category.
The role involves working closely with the Professional Services Category Lead to manage the procurement needs of the organization. This includes developing strategies to optimize risk and value, upholding company standards, and ensuring compliance with processes.
Key accountabilities include:
* Delivering end-to-end contracting and procurement for corporate, onshore and offshore development projects;
* Sourcing activities for professional services including legal, audit & advisory, consulting and subscription;
* Drafting recommendations informed by market intelligence and balancing risk and value;
* Managing supplier performance to ensure optimum cost, quality and safe delivery;
* Leading and contributing to negotiations and contract administration.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience as a procurement specialist, contracts analyst or category analyst. They should have strong commercial acumen, communication skills, and a commitment to procurement best practice.
Essential qualifications include Supply Chain Management, Business, Law, Engineering or project-related certifications.
