About this position
Kitchen Technician, part-time position for 7 hours (1 day) per week in school term time. There is potential for this position to increase to 35 hours (5 days) each week in school term time.

About you
The Kitchen Technician's role at Calvin Christian School is to:
* Organise the set-up and pack up of ingredients and resources for practicums;
* Support the teacher with kitchen processes where practicable;
* Assist with practicums;
* Support teachers with the cleaning of the space in preparation for the next classes;
* Identify and report relevant safety concerns;
* Assist with the support of students;
* Proactively report to and communicate with teaching staff as and when required;
* Assist in supervision duties as required;
* Contribute to staff devotions, activities and meetings as scheduled;
* Maintain a safe, organised learning environment.
Skills and experience
* Organisational strength;
* Familiarity with kitchen spaces and ingredients;
* Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
