WA Haulage Repairs is one of the leading servicing, repair, and fabrication commercial haulage companies. We are currently looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator / Body Builder to join our team based in Kewdale.
Trade qualified Welder / Fabricator / Body Builder with a minimum of 3 years experience in welding and fabrication is required.
Responsibilities
* Welding and fabrication repairs and modifications to road transport equipment
* Fabrication and welding
* Custom repairs
* Manufacture of subframes for cranes and trucks
* Tipper repairs
* A-frame manufacture
* General trailer repairs and fabrication, trailer refloors, frame reproduction, suspension repairs, and custom modifications
* Fitting of tail lifts
* Working with deadlines and within budgets
* Maintaining a safe working area
* Fit up of skip loaders and hook lifts
* Parts allocation to service reports
* Manufacture of custom truck trays
Qualifications
* Full unrestricted Australian working rights
* A comprehensive toolset
* Full, valid driver's licence
* Experience with parts allocation to service reports
* Experience with vehicle fit outs
* Aluminium welding experience
* Plasma, MIG and TIG welding experience
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
Work Pattern
This is a full-time position working Monday - Thursday 6:00am to 4:00pm + Friday 6:00am to 3:00pm (and Saturdays if required) 5:00am to 9:00am.
