About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated mental health specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering trauma-informed interventions addressing mental health concerns, child protection issues, and alcohol and other drug challenges. The role involves working closely with children, adolescents, and their families to provide essential support and make a lasting impact.
This position is based in the Manning region, preferably Taree, though this is negotiable. You will receive direct line management from a CAMHS CCI, Special Programs and Partnership Manager, and guidance from experienced psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, and psychiatrists.
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of trauma and its effects on young people, as well as the skills to deliver sensitive, effective interventions.

* Provide calm, responsive support during difficult times, helping families feel heard, supported, and safe.
* Work collaboratively with a range of non-clinical and clinical professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Requirements
* A qualification in Occupational Therapy, Clinical Psychology/Clin Psych in training, Nursing, Social Work, Counselling, or Nutrition and Dietetics.
* General registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency or relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of your specified post-graduate qualification.
* Eligibility to drive in NSW and interstate and the willingness to travel in the course of employment.
