Your new company
I am pleased to continue working with this excellent Geelong-based firm, driven by genuinely passionate leaders as they seek to expand their water/wastewater division. Seeking an individual local to Geelong, or an established candidate working interstate who can be backed by the business for success and develop their interstate project book.
Your new role
* Provide technical leadership on water and wastewater projects, shaping solutions from early engagement through to detailed design
* Contribute to feasibility studies and options development, supporting well‑defined projects and informed investment decisions
* Lead projects through design, procurement, construction and commissioning with a strong focus on delivery outcomes
* Maintain technical oversight through review of designs, specifications, BOQs and contractor submissions
* Develop strong working relationships across clients, regulators and delivery partners, while supporting team capability and growth
What you'll need to succeed
* 3+ years in environmental, process or water engineering, with hands‑on experience across water and/or wastewater treatment projects
* Relevant tertiary qualifications (Environmental, Chemical or Civil Engineering with a water focus, or similar)
* Proven experience delivering treatment system designs and supporting projects from design through to construction and commissioning
* Strong technical understanding of treatment technologies, system selection, Australian standards and regulatory approval pathways
* Well‑established industry relationships with clients, suppliers and delivery partners, coupled with Chartered Engineer status (or progress toward) and strong communication and technical reporting skills
