**Your Role**:
A unique opportunity presents itself for an experienced and qualified **Quality Manager - Engineering **to join the team in either Canberra, Sydney or Brisbane supporting our Sustainment & Modernisation programs across Northrop Grumman Australia (NGA).
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business' engineering activities are performing in a safe and compliant manner, while also serving as a liaison between the business and the broader engineering function. This will require oversight and implementation of the Engineering Management system regulatory requirements, quality audits, projects and resourcing requirements.
**About you**:
Your role entails actively engaging with the Sustainment and Modernisation Services (SMS) Head of Engineering as the Accountable Manager providing assurance on quality and compliance matters - this requires a competent and collaborative communication style.
You will be eligible to hold a Form 4 regulatory position across Part 21J and Part M / Part 42 requirements and have a minimum of a Diploma in Quality Management (or similar relevant qualification) to be eligible. Typically, you will have come from an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or Engineering background with a technical certificate and/or degree qualification.
Lastly, as part of the regulatory requirements, you must have had at least 5 years' experience working in an aviation Quality role working under DASA/CASA/EASA regulatory requirements.
