As a Heavy Machinery Repair Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining all machinery, plant, equipment, and other assets owned by the Council. This role requires you to work in a physically demanding environment on a daily basis. To succeed, you must be physically fit and able to efficiently complete tasks.
The successful applicant will possess a trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering and hold a current Queensland C class driver's licence. They will also need experience in servicing and repairing various types of plant and equipment, effective communication skills, basic computer literacy, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
This is a permanent full-time position that offers a competitive salary package.
