The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse with a passion for aged care to join our Residential Facility at Parry Care Centre in Lesmurdie. The role is permanent part-time, working 35 hours per fortnight.
Week 1 & 2
Thursday: 2200-0715
Friday: 2200-0715
Key Responsibilities
* Perform comprehensive reviews of residents through clinical assessments
* Safely administer medication to residents
* Assist with falls management and prevention
* Implement safe practice of care plans directed by the Registered Nurse
* Support and supervise care staff
* Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with Residents, Families, Staff, and other Health Professionals
* Comply with Occupational Health and Safety standards according to Aged Care Standards and Risk Management
About You
You are passionate about providing holistic care to aged care residents and enjoy working collaboratively with healthcare professionals. You will contribute to the smooth operation of the facility through effective communication and adherence to Amana Living's core values.
Essential Criteria
* Evidence of COVID-19 and current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
* Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6 months validity)
* Successful completion of pre-employment forms and reference checks
* Current AHPRA Registration
* NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
* Willingness to attend 2 days paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
