**How will I Help?**
The Executive Manager, Member Outcomes will play a critical role in the Office of the Superannuation Trustee (OST) in assisting the Trustee with carrying out its duties in relation to member outcomes. This includes strengthening and uplifting standards of governance as well as advocating for better member outcomes in line with the Trustee's obligations.
Other responsibilities include:
- Exercising delegations of authority conferred by the Head of the OST (from the Trustee) on certain matters including significant customer remediation activities and acting as Trustee delegate on large projects or Board directed items of work and working autonomously ensure delivery of these.
- Supporting the Trustee to fulfil their fiduciary obligations by providing strategic and commercial advice and support and advocating for members' best financial interests and appropriate member outcomes consistent with the Trustee's strategy and business plan.
- Act as an integrity measure, primarily for good governance and independence.
- Working with Company Secretariat, to ensure that governance related reporting to the Trustee Board and Committees is complete, accurate and sufficient to support decision making and monitoring consistent with members best financial interests.
- Assist in monitoring and supervision and quality of decision-making more generally.
- Oversight of any material issues or incidents that relate to governance, including monitoring and reporting on action plans.
- Identify and help manage any concerns that may arise for the Trustee and act as an escalation point for issues impacting the Trustee.

**What do I need?**
- Experienced skilled with significant experience in the superannuation industry.
- Previous experience in an OST would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Experience in relation to the strategic, commercial, regulatory and governance aspects of superannuation.
- Experience interacting with Boards and with senior management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills, in particular the ability to collaborate and develop working relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
- Ability to drive appropriate challenge to and influence the business on behalf of the Board.
- Ability to develop and maintain personable relationships.
- Ability to operate within a team environment.
