Rapid Supply is a locally trusted supplier, providing quality products and reliable service to our customers across Tasmania. We are seeking a motivated and creative Workwear Sales and Embroidery team member.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, completing embroidery and heat press projects for our customers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Analysing and understanding project specifications and clients' needs before starting each embroidery project
* Selecting the thread, fabric, hoops, and designs appropriate to each project
* Setting up machines and supervising the embroidery process
* Performing regular machine and inventory inspections, reporting any issues as required
* Providing suggestions regarding the design, placement, fabric, and thread selection
* Keeping track of work orders and updating records
* Communicating with clients and ensuring that all orders are sent out in a timely manner
* Liaising with graphic designers, suppliers, and production companies to ensure artwork is correctly formatted and production-ready
* Preparing and adjusting digital artwork files for embroidery and heat press applications
* Operating heat press equipment for logos, transfers, and custom branding
* Assisting with basic design work and layout adjustments where required
* Producing small-batch merchandise, including branded apparel, promotional items, and custom pieces
* Supporting the wider team with merchandising, order preparation, and general production tasks
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Relevant embroidery experience (preferred)
* A keen eye for detail
* The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Analytical and artistic skills
* Effective written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external parties
* Strong teamwork qualities centred around culture and accountability
* Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing work requirements
* Medium-level general computing skills
* Medium-level Microsoft suite skills (predominantly Excel and PowerPoint)
* Any graphic design experience will be highly regarded
