About Us
Legal Aid NSW delivers accessible legal services across criminal, family and civil law. We provide advice, court representation, and family dispute resolution through 28 offices and phone-based support, helping people navigate the legal system with confidence and fairness.

About The Role
The Legal and Client Support Officer, Clerk Grade 3/4 role is a valuable addition to our existing administration division at Legal Aid NSW.
The role is an important first point of contact for our clients with complex legal and non-legal issues to determine and provide appropriate information and organises support or services.
The role provides a range of clerical and legal administrative support to our legal teams to deliver best outcomes for our clients.
About You
You are a dedicated and client-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. As a collaborative team player, you consistently deliver high-quality support services with professionalism and reliability.
Your strong communication skills enable you to engage effectively with both clients and legal staff across a range of interactions, including reception duties, phone enquiries, and legal administrative tasks. You bring a proactive approach to client service and demonstrate confidence in managing competing priorities.
You have a solid administrative background and are proficient in using a variety of technologies to support daily operations. Your keen attention to detail ensures accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of your work.

You Must
The essential requirements for this role
* be willing to do a Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check
* hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency(for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)
