About the Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a Mine Geologist to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. This site-based role reports to the Senior Mine Geologist and operates on an 8:6 roster.
Your focus will be on supporting safe and efficient ore extraction by providing geological guidance and insights to our mining operations.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Conducting underground inspections, face mapping, and stope design reviews.
* Delivering grade control and ore–waste management to support efficient mining operations.
* Logging core and managing geological data, including QA/QC, modelling, and reconciliation.
* Planning, coordinating, and monitoring underground diamond drilling programmes.
* Generating short-term forecast mine grade schedules for processing planning.
* Championing site safety and HSEC standards through exemplary behaviour and compliance.
About You
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced Mine Geologist, with expertise in grade control, managing daily drilling activities, and supervising contractors.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
* A tertiary qualification in Geology.
* Experience with geological mining software packages, such as Vulcan, Deswik, and Leapfrog.
* A current C-class manual driver's licence.
