We are looking for someone to fill our Storeperson / Machine Operator position in our Geebung office. This position is a full-time position with a 38 hour work week and will report directly to our Queensland Manager. It involves a variety of different tasks and responsibilities, including:
* Safe operation of our Knife cutting machine.
* Meeting customer deadlines of manufactured products.
* Receiving goods in and checking for quality and accuracy.
* Utilising our various computer systems to dispatch orders, correct stock quantities and receive purchases.
* Packing and dispatching to customers throughout Australia (and overseas).
* Picking items.
* Responding to factory requests for material.
* Performing both scheduled and ad-hoc stock-takes to assist with customer enquiries.
* Booking and working with couriers and various other contractors.
* General housekeeping and cleaning work.
* Occasional answering of phones and liaising with stakeholders via email.
The successful applicant will have:
* Be available to work full time, Monday to Friday each week.
* Have basic knowledge of computer systems typically used in business environments.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Good communication skills.
* A willingness to learn and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
