Architect – Boutique Residential Practice (Sydney)
We're a small, design-focused residential architecture studio based in Sydney, working on bespoke houses, high-end renovations, smaller multi-residential together with some hospitality projects. Our projects are highly detailed, client-engaged, and design-led through to construction.
We're looking for a graduate or registered architect who enjoys being closely involved in all stages of a project, is well organised, and values design, collaboration, and working with clients, and understands the value that constraints can bring to the design process.
About the role
You'll be working directly with the Principals on a range of residential projects, with genuine responsibility and influence over the design and delivery. This is a diverse role — you'll be involved from concept design through to construction documentation and site involvement. You need to be flexible as you will be taking on existing projects at various stages in the architectural process.
Depending on experience, the role may include:
* Concept and design development with direction
* Detailed documentation and coordination with consultants
* Collaboration in Client meetings and presentations
* Development and construction certificate approvals
* Tender documentation and detailing with direction
* Contract Administration
About you
We're looking for someone who is:
* An experienced graduate of architecture or registered architect
* Minimum of 5+ years' experience
* Strong in design thinking, detailing, and documentation
* Comfortable working across multiple stages of a project
* Confident communicating with clients, consultants, and builders
* Well organised, self-motivated, and happy in a small studio environment
* Proficient in Archicad
