Purpose of the Role
BGIS is seeking a
Facilities Manager
to lead the delivery of maintenance and operations at large NSW government site. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will manage site-based FM operations, contractors, compliance, and stakeholder relationships to ensure all services meet contractual and safety requirements.

An experienced, collaborative facilities professional with strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills. You'll thrive in high-responsibility environments and have a solid grasp of WHS compliance, CMMS, and subcontractor management.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day facilities operations across the correctional site
* Manage CMMS, ensure compliance with KPIs and WHS standards
* Lead subcontractor performance and ensure safety and documentation compliance
* Coordinate maintenance, service contracts, and emergency call-out systems
* Support reporting, budgeting, and quality improvement initiatives
Education, Experience & Skills
Essential:
* Strong background in facilities management, ideally in government or secure environments
* Proven experience using CMMS and managing service contractors
* Excellent communication, financial acumen, and client-facing skills
* Working knowledge of WHS, QA, and environmental compliance
Desirable:
* Trade or tertiary qualification in building/facilities discipline
* First Aid Certificate and Driver's Licence
