We're in the midst of opening our newly renovated restaurant with a brand-new bar and cocktail lounge over the next few weeks – it's an exciting time to join our team, especially as footy season kicks off

About the Role
Reporting to the Café or Restaurant Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of our service. You'll rotate between barista duties, front-of-house service, and restaurant support, ensuring every guest has a smooth and welcoming experience.
Roster: Rotating across 7 days
Physical tasks: Some lifting and movement involved
Autonomy: Proactive, initiative-driven team members who can manage busy periods and step in wherever needed
Key Responsibilities
Café Roles:
* Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to a high standard
* Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide excellent service
* Maintain café cleanliness, stock levels, and equipment
* Work efficiently during peak periods and manage large volumes of customers
* Assist with tills, front-of-house service, and support team members
* Keep the pace up while maintaining quality and accuracy
* Follow health & safety standards and café SOPs
Restaurant Roles:
* Serve food and drinks efficiently and professionally, providing casual dining table service
* Take orders digitally and accurately
* Understand menu offerings and confidently make recommendations
* Adapt quickly to changes and remain calm during busy periods
* Take initiative to ensure your assigned section runs at 100% at all times
* Work collaboratively with the BOH (kitchen) team
* Maintain a positive attitude and smile while delivering excellent customer experiences
* Follow health & safety standards and restaurant SOPs
About You
* Experienced in café or restaurant service, depending on role preference
* Proper coffee training and 2+ years café experience (for café roles) OR table service experience with digital ordering, menu knowledge, and casual dining experience (for restaurant roles)
* Passionate about hospitality and creating a welcoming customer experience
* Organised, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Works well under pressure, leads by example, and supports the team
* Hands-on, adaptable, and happy to help wherever needed
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency in service and quality
Must-Haves
* Proper coffee training and café experience or restaurant/table service experience
* RSA certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Availability on a rotating 7-day roster
* Comfortable with busy service periods and light physical tasks
* Team player with great communication skills
