This senior leadership role will shape the future of a fast-growing retail OOH and data-led media offering positioning it as a must-buy channel for agencies and major brands. About the opportunity
As General Manager – Commercial & Strategic Solutions, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performance agency sales organisation of approximately 40+ people. Your mandate is to embed a proactive, hunter-led culture that drives new business, grows market share across media agencies, and elevates retail out-of-home as an essential part of the media mix. You will work closely with senior stakeholders internally and externally, shaping strategy, leading major negotiations, and representing the business at the highest industry levels.

* Develop and execute a proactive outbound sales strategy to grow market share within media agencies
* Lead new business development with agency holding groups and independent agencies
* Build and maintain senior, executive-level relationships across the agency and brand landscape
* Own the narrative around retail OOH, data and digital capability, and measurable marketing outcomes
* Lead major proposals, negotiations, and long-term commercial partnerships
* Take full accountability for agency channel revenue performance and budget delivery
* Establish a best-in-class sales operating model, embedding strong pipeline discipline, CRM excellence, accurate forecasting, clear KPIs, and a high-performance cadence
* Lead, mentor, and inspire a large senior sales team, embedding a high-performance, hunter mindset
* Partner closely with product, marketing, operations, and strategy teams to ensure a best-in-class OOH offering
* Advocate internally for the agency channel and ensure solutions are agency-ready
* Drive industry presence through forums, conferences, and thought leadership
* Develop case studies and success stories that reinforce category leadership
What they're looking for
* 10+ years' experience in media agency sales, advertising sales, or senior commercial leadership roles
* Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and building high-performing sales teams
* Strong existing relationships across media agency holding groups
* Experience selling complex media, digital, data, OOH, or retail media solutions
* Exceptional commercial acumen, executive presence, and negotiation skills
* Ability to operate effectively in both high-growth and large corporate environments
* Strategic thinker with strong execution capability
