Delivering Exceptional Maternity Care: A Career Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Registered Midwife to join our team in the Maternity and Delivery Suite at Royal Darwin Hospital. As a midwife, you will provide high-quality care across antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal services.
This role offers a unique chance to work in a busy regional maternity setting, where you will be required to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in delivery suite responsibilities, neonatal resuscitation, and ante/postnatal care. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide antenatal, labour and birth, postnatal, and neonatal care
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient care
Requirements:
* Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate - Mandatory
* FSEP/OFSep- Mandatory (must be submitted with application)
* Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
